6. One Fatality
Following these interesting developments in the children’s integration, came a startling event.
The girl and boy seemed to be developing differently in the sense that the girl was getting healthier but the boy grew ill. Not long after they got baptized, the boy died with his long-term illness being the main reason.
Healthcare in the 12th century is worlds apart from what we know today and further examination on the boy was probably never conducted, also given the high mortality rates of this century, it wasn’t a pressing matter.
