He was responsible for the welfare in East Anglia and twisted renditions of the story say that he took care of the Lamprey children, as a reference to the green children.
Suspicions of the green children led to conspiracy theories of them being Lamprey’s; a creature that looked like a faceless green serpent that lived in a time vortex.
