With regards to Saint Martin’s land, Harris’ answer contains a lot of inconsistencies, but he suggests that the boy and girl could’ve come from the locations with the same name nearby that were streets or wards.
The theory that they could’ve come from nearby falls flat because had the children come from a nearby Saint Martin’s location wouldn’t the harvesters, and better yet, the well-traveled Sir Richard know which Saint Martins the girl was talking about?
