10. Inaki Urdangarin – The Embezzler
Son-in-law to ex-monarch, King Juan Carlo, and brother-in-law to King Felipe of Spain, Urdangarin was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison for embezzlement and money laundering totaling £4.5 million.
He earned the excess through his non-profit organization, the Noos institute which his wife was also investigated for. His wife, the Duchess of Palma was acquitted but stripped of her title by her brother King Felipe in 2015.
