5. Elliott’s Immediate Reaction
Mulling over the identity of her biological parents and the circumstances of her birth, pushed Sharon to begin her own investigation. As aforementioned, 66% of female adoptees search for their biological parents but most of them begin in their adolescence.
In Elliott’s case, her old age at the time of finding out made the chance of finding them alive much lower. Fortunately, before her passing, Sharon’s adoptive mother left her an envelope containing adoption certificates and old newspapers, which could aid as clues in her investigation.
