Sarcosuchus was one such crocodile-like reptile that was almost 40-feet long and weighs close to 10 tons.

This gigantic reptile is expected to have lived in SouthAmerica and Africa and was known to be an amphibian.

What really scares us is the fact that it was larger than several kinds of dinosaurs. Plus, research suggests that it even ate dinosaurs!

Even though this terrifying predator mostly stayed underwater, it was strong and adequately equipped to take on co-existing giants.
