Prehistoric Animals That We Are Glad Went Extinct

#16 Anomalocaris

Any reasonable person would agree that the oceans are terrifying. The Anomalocaris is one such creature that supports our argument.

This water-dwelling shrimp lived on our planet before the Cambrian period. It went extinct approximately 510 million years ago.

This shrimp could be around 25-100 cm in length. One of the weirdest parts about it would have to be its big eyes.

Anomalocaris had great vision and preyed on hard-bodied sea creatures. Well, this does sound quite impressive for an awkward-looking shrimp!
