12. King Tutenkhamen’s Death
King Tutankhamen was an Egyptian king who rose to power when he was only 9 years old and died very young too – when he was only 19. His tomb, when discovered, was found to be made with an astounding 240 pounds of solid gold and several precious stones.
Historians have always been fascinated with this boy king, and this mystery rapidly grew when one of the two archaeologists died shortly after discovering the tomb. Some even say that King Tut’s tomb was protected by a curse that condemned anyone who touched his coffin!
