15. Speech Disorder Name That Sufferers Can’t Pronounce
There are several types of speech disorders that can prevent the speaker from pronouncing certain parts of the language. One such condition is the inability to be able to pronounce the letter ‘R’.
Ironically, the term that the medical world gave to this condition is ‘rhotacism’. That word has the letter ‘R’ in it. I mean, how are sufferers supposed to explain their condition to doctors if they’re unable to pronounce the name of their condition? Weird!
