The Mayan culture is full of beautiful mystical tales that talk about the origin of The Earth, life, humans, and other creatures. to pass down these ancient stories, the Mayan people depended on narrating stories to their children, a tradition hat continued for centuries upon centuries to preserve their history.
Finally, a lot of these stories were documented by an unknown author in 1554-1558 in the book known as the ‘Popol Vuh’ book. Their beliefs and tales were finally written down because their culture faced imminent destruction by the Spanish conquerors.
