Darlene Roach, completely enamored by the castle, was the first owner of the property after its mass ravaging. She claimed to never experience anything out of the ordinary, adding that one of the earliest owners left it with a more “benevolent” sacrality.

She was referring to J Paul Druien, who was a divorcee during the 1940s who built a chapel on the property which was then sanctified by Druien’s pastor father.
