#1 Jack the Ripper: The Unidentified Madman
One of the most remorseless killers of all time doesn’t have a name or a face. In 1888, an unidentified man terrorized the streets of London. He lured his victims (mainly prostitutes) into dim corners and slit open their throats and disfigured their bodies.
The killer allegedly sent dozens of letters to the police mocking at their inability to catch him. He took his final prey in November 1888, after disappearing forever. The file was finally shut close in 1892, leaving a big question mark on his identity that continues to appear through generations.
