#23 Chinese Imperial Vase
A centuries-old Chinese vase, that was once sold to the original buyer at an auction for just $56 got acquired for a whopping $9 million by its next owner in another auction held in July 2020.
The previous owner is believed to be an elderly woman in her 80’s. The very rare 18th-century artifact is said to have been resting for almost 5 decades in her Central European house surrounded by multiple pets.
The extremely authentic and visually delighting vase was made especially for the Qianlong Emperor of China who ruled the country for more than 60 years.
