#26 Chinese Mummy – Lady Of Dai
Better known to the world as the best-preserved mummy ever seen in history, this mummy is over 2100 years old. Her arms and legs can flex, her organs are unharmed, her skin is soft and she still has her own hair. This puzzled some scientists.
The mummy is believed to be of the Lady of Dai, also famous as Xin Zhui. She was the wife of the Marquis of Dai of the Han dynasty (206 BCE – 220 AD).
The tomb was discovered inside a hill in Hunan, China, in 1971 by the workers who were digging a site.
