12. The Zapata Footprint
The Zapata footprint was found embedded in a Permian rock in New Mexico, and carbon-dating says that the imprint is almost 290 million years old!
This wasn’t just before humans came into existence but even before bipedalism became a mode of locomotion among the earliest apes.
The Zapata footprint has unseated us in everything we have been taught and have learned of human evolution through science. Is it possible that humans existed much before 200,000 years ago?
And even if that were so, were they really around 290 million years ago, when dinosaurs were walking the Earth?
